Mickey Singleton was born on Mt. Doreen Station in the Northern Territory. He worked as a drover on the station during much of his working life until he moved to Yuendumu in the Tanami Desert. Over the years he has moved to and from Yuendumu and Nyirripi which is a settlement further west, close to the Western Australian border. He is now living permanently in Nyrripi.
Mickey paints stories related to his ancestral and cultural tradition.
