This painting depicts the Dogwood Tree (Acacia). This tree grows on the banks of the creeks. The seeds can be eated or made into a drink. The wood is used for making weapons. The women of the Napurulla and Napanangka subsections travelled and collected the seeds and pods of the Dogwood Tree which was a highly prised food.
