Minnie is painting the country where she was born and where her name originated. It is traditional country called Bubble Community in Dumbaral located east of Newry Station in the Kimberley. “This is part of my country and the natural fresh water spring which bubbkes up called “Lumai, Lumai” is where I got my name.”
Bubble Spring starts at the upper right and flows towards the Keep River. At the centre is Jalan – “This place is for Catfish Draeming and a good fishing place.”
