This painting relates to an important ancestral site associated with Tjiparitjarra near rocky outcrops and a large sandhill west of Jupiter Well. It is an important Creation site where a large group of Tingari men visited before travelling east through Yunala and Kiwirrkura. The Tingari were Creation characters whose work in creating important sites and performing ceremonies were passed down through the generations and are secret in nature, accessible only to fully initiated Pintupi men of the region.
