Bilmee – Dog Story Place

This Solo Exhibition by Netta Loogatha, is her most recent works. Netta was one of the Kaiadilt women from Bentinck Island who rose to prominence in the mid 2000’s of which Sally Gabori was one. Netta’s painting is an explosion of colour as she depicts her country and that of her father King Alfred. She paints stone fish traps and Dog Story Place which was her birth place on Bentinck Island.
